  1. Thanks for your feedback. Students will need to select the network location and update the Control Def individually. If they log onto a different PC they will need to go through the steps again as defaults are assigned to user profiles. Will I need to remove the local files from each PC? Is this were the Control Def is updated? To my knowledge the IT department deploys an image to all the PC's. The Powershell script could be a potential option. I will need to have a chat with the IT department. Ultimately I need the simplest solution possible to avoid any issues. Many Thanks David
  2. Hi all I have query regarding the installation of post processors from a central location. Currently we have 50 seats on Mastercam installed in a third level college. We update to the latest edition yearly and must manually add the posts to each PC. As you can appreciate this takes a considerable amount of time to complete. I am wondering if it is possible to install the posts on a server and access them from there for each Pc or can they be included with the installation. If you have any other suggestions that would simplify this process that would be great. Thanks Regards David
  3. Hi all I am having some difficulty with C-Axis face contour toolpath. Operation 5 in the attached Mastercam file. When I back plot the toolpath I get sharp corners, however when I verify the toolpath it puts a chamfer on them. Maybe it’s a setting I am missing but I can’t locate it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, in verify why does the tool approach from the Z direction. This should be showing from the X direction. I know that the post will update the code to accommodate for it. It is a bit misleading. Is there a way to change this? Regards David Ex 04 Lathe C axis.emcam
