Dimensions aren't sticking when entered by hand since I've started using 2024. I start a new project, pick wireframe->line endpoints, pick the first endpoint and enter the length dimension, hit enter and let the snap set the angle(180) and click to finish. This dimension works. The line enpoint dialog is still up, so I click on the end of the line I just made, enter the length dimension and hit enter, I go to let the snap set the angle (90), but this dimension, and every dimension after it, wherever I click the mouse, the length dimension changes to the click point instead of using the hand-entered one. I've tried the lock icon, but the same thing happens.
