  1. Hello Forum, Beginner Mastercam user here. I am currently trying to make a 5 axis toolpath in Mastercam using a 3 axis 3d high speed dynamic Opti-rough operation, then converting it to a 5 axis program using the convert to 5 axis tool. Both the 3 axis and 5 axis toolpaths generate and look fine when I simulate them, and I am able to post the 3 axis program. Problems start to arise when I go to post the 5 axis program. When I post, the post processor will run for a couple of minutes, making seemingly little progress, and then an window pops up saying "MACHINE LIMITS REACHED. ROTARY WILL UNWIND". It makes sense that this window pops up since the tool path does continuously turn the B table on our pocket-NC, and there is a known limit to how far it can turn. However when I go to hit ok or x out of the window, it just pops up again, doing so repeatedly resulting in the code not posting. I am using Mastercam 2024 with the Penta Machine Co. PocketNC post processor which is provided by Mastercam. I have included a screenshot of the screen that pops for reference. Let me know what you guys think about this problem. Thanks!
