As it turns out, when I unchecked the "fixtures box" in the "visibility section" of the simulator everything worked perfect. 

The latest version of McamX9 is PC one vs #18.0.11209.0, you're going to want to uninstall beta3 because it will time out.

 

Here is an engraving tpath run in Verify without using accurate zoom, it was cut with a 15deg chamfer mill, 0.010 flat, .0075 step over.

I'm cutting with a 1/8" ball mill .01 deep .375 letters. I've done this time and time again with X8 with no problems at all. The acurate zoom trick did not work either.  

I'm running X9 beta 3. Seems as though the simulator doesn't show toolpaths generated for letter geometry. When I backplot it does show the tool cutting below the top surface. Is anyone else having the same issue? Is there a setting for this?

I'm not catching exactly what you want on the drop down there are two one upper and one lower? which are you changing. both are on the right and you can toggle each. one for part and one for library.

I assume you are talking about X8. Yes just drag over from the other and should be good to go.

No, X7. When I open the tool manager from the toolpaths drop down on the menu bar.

When I open the X7 tool manager the default "display mode" is the "both"  setting. Is there a way to change that?

No, the Machine Group Name is different.

There is no other group with the same name

When I try to rename any toolpath group I get a warning. "Group already exists with the same name" Even if there is no such name in the machine group. Is the toolpath group name saved in the NCI. File? Any Ideas?

Why can't I set/move the WCS ORIGIN from the drop down menu on my toolbar. It will not allow me to select a position. I can do it with the "view manager" on the Status bar at the bottom of my screen.

Can you use a .MCX file of a solid as the machine bed in a machine definition?

Why do I get a "Mastercam X2 not installed" error when I try to install the latest service pack? How can this issue be resolved? I am running X2 MR2.

Is there a quick way to copy and paste all the attributes from one text/font to change other text/font on that drawing. I want update all the dimension text on a IGS. file to a Mastercam X2 text.
