  1. Oh hey Ajmer, Havent heard from u in a while.....Its a 9 pin with a 9 pin/usb converter. It used to work, but now its not working and ive tried many different things. Im not sure if its settings on the computer or if its the usb converter cable itself....Im getting a 9pin pci card tomorrow, so i can just hook it up directly. ill see how that goes...

  2. Yah....Its just not connecting to the xxxxor properly...I got a brand new cable serial cable. I have a converter cable to USB, which ive had for a while and it was working b4. The light is still lit on the USB converter, so I dont know what seems to be the problem...

  3. Hey, Im running mastercam X2 MR2 and everything seems to be working fine with that. I Use WinDnc 5.1 to post my stuff to the xxxxor. It was working fine, but then now when i open Windnc, it says "detecting CNC device", then it gets past that...It freezes at "Scanning Remote Directory (Programs)". After about 10 seconds, a windows pops up saying "transmission Error"...I've tried replacing the cable and restarting both the PC and the xxxxOR, but nothing it working....Please help asap. I need to cut out a couple of sinks:P

  4. I am polishing a tub cutout of white marble piece. When the edge of the piece is slightly chipping, what can i change to reduce this? Im assuming the spindle or feed speed, but im not sure how to properly calibrate it...Thanks in advance

  5. Actually....I fixed the problem, but now i just want to know how to slow the tool when it go down everytime. Im doing it manually right now, but its annoying...I know theres a way, but not sure. Thanks...

  6. Im trying to engrave, but wherever the bit come down and goes up, there is a bigger engrave right at that spot. It doesnt look right. Its like the bit goes deeper at those sections and its on all fo them. I was just wondering what the plunge rate is and if thats what i need to adjust...Please help, thanks

  7. I jus got this program from the emastercam.com downloads. I was jus wondering how to define the surface feed and the flutes. I just want to know if i got it right. Thanks....Also, if there is another software that does this, that would be great to know as well...I apreciate it

  8. Bah, i didnt get much from that link. Im not very good with GCode, so i cant figure it out. Im gettin better, but not good enough to understand stuff like that...So if anybody could do it for me and send me the file back, then that would be awsome too....Any help is appreciated, so thanks john...

  9. Im cuttin 1 1/4" thick manmade material called Aosta. Its very hard and doesnt chip easy. I cut it fine, but the finished product is lumpy. If u run your hands along the side after the polish, it feels bumpy a little. Also, if u look at it in the light, theres light scratches going along the toolpath, but u cant feel them.

  10. Im usin mastercam X2. When i post multiple toolpaths (4 for example), it used to post all in one program, but jus recently for some reason when post, its post the first 3, then it posts the last one in a different file....I dont know why? PLease help...thanx

  11. I jus got a 7 piece set of GDI polishing tools for 1.25" thick material. When i use these tools, the finish is not as smooth as it should be. I was wondering how i can maximize the performance of these tools and how i can make the finish not so bumpy as an end product...I am usin mastercam X2. thanks....

  12. Hey, i just installed mastercam X2 and it wont start. It says that the contract has expired when it is not. the original mastercam X1 still works, but X2 does not and i was wondering if anybody could help me. I also installed the patch..Thanks
