Point = choose whatever size you want
Arc = Arc sets the size
It's easy enough to create points on arcs and its easy enough to mass modify existing arcs to whatever size you want.
Choose your weapon.

I believe that should be a setting in the post. I would double check that first to see if its still set the way you should be seeing it.

I dont know why but i usually set containment to outside like you have and enter a large offset distance like 1 or 2 inches and that usually get me what i want.

stock is set to translucent under verification. Is that what your talking about?

If you have a MX-520 then you probably have CAMPLATE and all the machine parameters should be in there to view.

Thanks, just wanted to check.
I did run Mastercam verify on a stock model then saved that as an STL so that was helpful.
yes. you can also save a vericut model as an stl. if running a first OP, then use that cut stock for the secont OP which is more desireable results than mastercams creation of an stl. file based off mastercams verify.

the Vericut mastercam interface button does not access mastercams stock setup.

you cannot use mastercams stock model for Vericut. Vericut wants an stl. file for stock model. What you want to do is export your mastercam file as an stl. and then use that.

It's on the Wireframe Tab
Look in the Modify box then the Refit Spline dropdown
Yes Perfect. Thanks

Had trouble getting MasterCam command finder to work, and have been unable to locate the simplify splines tool in MasterCam 2017. The equivalent in X9 would be EDIT- SIMPLIFY SPLINES. This is used for converting splines to arcs.

if you recreate that tool that has a repaired NCI in it then it fixes the problem.

Is it just me or does it take everyone else 3 clicks to get the multi threading window visible over the Mastercam screen? once its visible for the first time then it will open visibly with one click.

Is your NC Precision in your control def. set to more than 4 place decimal?
Both radial spiral and helix bore in one op

I was thinking the exact same thing, I see no benefit as well. I don't see any advantages with this method like said above you will just produce a cone shape.
But with that being said you can just draw a tapered spiral how you want and just 3D contour it.
