this is is for cold drawm 304 ss 22-275 bhn ( to be safe, in the case of no certs)

Roughing reamer HSS 60 sfpm @ .005 ipr ( only if needed)

finish reamer carbide 50 sfpm @ .004 ipr

use water soluable and pre-drill to .242 ( c drill)

Well as an ex boss of mine told me. Never use carbide or PVD inserts to machine aluminum. Use hand ground cold rolled steel endmills ! Anything else would be ridiculous !!

Tip Comp for drilling makes it crash often for me. I am actually scared to check it. I always make sure I save my files before clicking it. It happens more often after I copy an operation and reuse it.

Hello everyone, we have a mori seiki SL-35 lathe with a fanuc 15 control. The operator wants to use a bar puller to pull a square pc of stk. He is having trouble getting the spindle to orientate correctly to the bar puller - because the part is square. Is there a way to adjust the rotation position of the spindle when M19 ( spindle orientation) is used? Thank you for your help.
