Thats just "Crazy"

I installed it, right into my filing cabinet, Im not sure I will ever install it, just too many problems, X6 is working just fine for me.
-
yes ,you are correct, I never unhook our 4th axis, I just cut a notch in the top access door beside the window to allow the cabels to pass thru and I slide the 4th axis onto a wheeled cart I made and park it beside the machine when Im not using it.
-
ENABLING 4th AXIS OPERATION
1.Set Parameter Write to 1(Enable)
2.Set K-bits 2.7and4.7 to"1"
3.Set Parameter 12, bit 7,A=0
4.Set Parameter 1005,bit 7=0
5.Set Parameter Write to 0 (Disable)
6.Power Down
7.Power Up
Hope this helps , I run the same machine, I copied this out of my manual, let me know if you need more more information

I use (tabs) then just break them out like model pieces, ya know when you were a kid building models,it works for us anyways
-
Thanks for all your help, I got it to work

When I do a file merge/Pattern is their a way to also bring over all my tool path groups with it? I think IT has shut me out on my computer had to sneek over to the laptop to log onto the forum, been months since I have been here I see Off Topic is gone so I guess I will put this in here. Thanks

we have a Hardinge VX710 Great machine , no issues, would buy another one
-
Sorry, Did I put this in the wrong place?
I am trying surface to surface
-
Thanks Jammer , I will sent this out to ya, its probably something simple I am just overlooking.
-
can not get the surfaces to trim the way I need them to, I can send the file so you can see what I am trying to do ,this is going to be a mold for a dog toy (frisbee) type.
Thanks

we have looked at two types of printers (Z-Corp and Dimension ) I think they are leaning toward Dimension, we will be doing some small mold design so 3-D software will be needed
-
The company I work for is looking into 3-D printers, what 3-D software is everyone using with mastercam? and user friendly, cuz 3-D is new to me, also will I have to upgrade to X4? we currently have X2 Thanks

I think it may have happend when we went from MR1 to MR2, could that be possible?
-
found it (RESTORE CATAGORY) for rigid taping in
the control definition settings, I don't know how that got turned off? but then again I don't know how a lot of things happen??? TOO MANY DOG COLLARS!
-
M29 is not showing in my post for a ridid tap cycle? I have the rigid tap cycle checked in the drop down list, it used to work before, I may have turned something off by mistake? I'm sure
its so simple I have just over looked it. X2 MR2 SP1 w/CIMCO Edit V5
-
same thing happend to me ,we fryed our brains trying to figure it out, and all it was ,was the
date in the hasp, make sure your code and Dates
are all current

had all kinds of problems with MR1,always crashing at random, installed MR2 and the issues went away
-
I have the art tab in my operations manager but it does not do anything. In MR1 at the top of my screen I have the word (Art) between Screen and Settings, and it works, actually I have been playing with it, but just when I get too envolved
MR1 will crash ,unexplanable, its a mystery, thats why I got away from MR1 and installed MR2
and have had no issues but the word (Art) is not at the top of my screen in MR2. Are ya confused yet?
-
Its listed on my hasp, just cant turn it on in MR2? Do I even need MR1? I don't use it , can I just save the few programs in there and delete or uninstall, and then will art turn on in MR2?
-
I got the install code, that is how I got it turned on but, Its on in MR1 and not MR2, I was told not to combine the two(MR1 MR2) to keep them seperate from each other(thus the crashing issues I was having in MR1 would not effect MR2)
I do not use MR1 anymore it just kinda hides there in the back of my computer.
