We have 3 different computers running ver 9.1 with the first set of patches installed. (We haven't yet installed the second set of patches.) Each of these computers has had problems saving one or two times. When saving, the save window has no drives or directories showing in the save window. The mouse is active on all portions of the screen. If you save or try to change the file view from details to icons, the "Mill9.exe has created an error log and will shut down" Message appears and MC shuts down. The most recent file was relatively small, all lines arcs and points on about 6 levels and all 2-D. When we brought the file back up the toolpaths were gone. We are running P4 dells from 850 mhz to 1.6Ghz with win 98 and win 2000 and 2 have matrox video cards and one has Nvidia Quadro2.
Has anyone else seen this or found a solution?

I would like to be able to group levels together in the levels box. We run panels and flip the part half way through machining. We may have 3 to 10 levels with different features on each level for one side and as many on the other side. I'm looking for one click to turn on or off several levels, kind of like the groups in the operations manager.
Even a new button to reverse on and off would be nice when "used or named" is in effect. (ie turn off all "on" levels and on all "off" levels)

I wish I could re-assign the down arrow key for example to enter a comma between values while entering co-ordinates. It could still work as usuall during other times. This eliminates reaching for the comma key when entering on the number keypad.

Will Draft 8 work on windows XP? I have heard that it may crash the system if there is any dos based software installed. Has anyone had any experience with this? If it can work what format do you use to install, 95,98, or NT?
T/C Plane G view at IGES import

If I double click on an IGES or DXF file in explorer, when the file opens, mastercam sets the Tool plane to 9, C plane & the G view to 10. If I open mastercam first, then use file- converters- IGES- read file, it opens in the top view. Is there a way to change this? I could open IGES and DXF files in previous versions of mastercam (vers 7 & 8) by double clicking the file in explorer and mastercam opened with T/Cplane and G view set at top.
