  1. I would like:

    1. Correct interpretation of coolant commands. In the toolpath manager shows the coolant off regardless of the coolant commands in the tool or operation settings. I'm using simultaneously flood and thru spindle most of the time. The post is ok, however the setup sheet shows coolant OFF (Active Reports). The XML created by Mastercam shows OFF. It is critical that the operator use the right tool holder, and actually checks if the coolant goes thru spindle.
    2. When is a new version to be installed to have "use all previous settings", not to go thru all the painful installation process.

  2. It's in the clipboard.

You can paste it in almost any application.

Do you think the "save as file" option is necessary?

    Günther,

For me the "save as file" option was great. I was taking screenshots during verify, so the operator was able to have a quick reference how the part should look at different stages.

Thanks for all the great work!

  3. Thanks MKD for your reply!

It is a face milling operation, removing .180 stock

I'm using a Sandvik Coromill 300 2 1/2" face mill (1.850 center of inserts) with 16mm round inserts grade 2040

Machining in 3 passes, .07, .06 and .05 depth of cut.

Using dynamic toolpath, climb, 66% stepover (1.220")

    360 rpm

    8 ipm

The machine is Fadal HS 4020

  4. Guys, this is my first post here.

My way to check the holder in this type of situations is maybe too simple.

I'm creating a 3D contour replicating the closest area where I have to go to the walls using the normal holder definition. Make sure run the path after your toolpath in the verify. Then this you just not post. When you create the tool list will show up with the holder.

    I hope it helps.
