Apparently, there was a problem with the restrictions set by the system administrator. With administrative privileges, it works ok. I do appreciate all the help.

The OS is all up to date. I talked to an IT person who thinks they have it figured out. Their advice is to uninstall outlook. After MasterCam is installed, reinstall outlook. Doesn't sound like it would do anything but apparently it worked for him before. I should know soon if it works or not. I will also try another editor if this is unsuccessful.

At a second look, X3 is the only Version of MasterCam software on the pc but there is a bunch of folders from previous versions copied to this pc.

I am using Microsoft windows XP 2002. As far as I know everything is up to date. All other applications seem to be functioning ok. I have had previous versions of Mastercam but they were installed on an older pc and didn't have any troouble. This pc is newer and a little more powerfull. X3 is the first version on this pc.

After installing X3, the master cam editor does not pop up after posting a program. I just get a window that says office is gathering information. Then nothing. But, if outlook is uninstalled, it works like it is supposed to. Any ideas?
