The company I now work for has a hardinge xr 760 and a xr 1500, I have been programming for years at another place that had all Haas machines. all the Haas machines used to run my G code in graphics to catch certain mistakes that I could of made. The machinist at this new place say that there machines have no such feature, I don't beleive it, does anyone know if this is possible? and if it is possible, what are the step by step procedures?......TY J.

  2. Hey guys, haven't been on in a while, because I didn't have any questions, but they where going to boot me, so here I am, still running X4, company is getting smaller, outsourceing most detail parts...but keep me on, lord knows I need help now and then.

  3. we used to have this option (i think), can't seem to find, my dxf files to sent to millpowers can not contain splines (for some reason) tring to break my slines into lines and arcs if possible. please help......thanks

  4. How an I tell what version i'm using? Up at the top it says Mastercam Design x4, but when it is coming up it still says x3, and there doesn't seem to be any difference (that i can see)between them, if it is x4, how can i change my icon to x4. it is on a network hasp....tks..J

  5. just moved to x4 today (from x3), but I don't know if that, has anything to do with this problem.

     

    Tried to print on 11 x 17 landscape. got this alarm

     

    "Unable to generate shaded print, try a smaller print region and/or a lower dpi or change display mode to wireframe"

     

    my print is not shaded, any help would be appreciated.....ty

  6. I have a 1/2" alum plate that has 85, 1 1/4" holes in it (not lined up with each other). i have to make a print for this part and wanted to make a chart of x & y coordinates for the holes. no lines, just a chart, is there a way to get the dim in the chart?

  7. I'm making a 2-d drawing to be saved as a DWG,I am looking to change a isometric view to a top view, so it puts a 3-d model onto a 2-d drawing.

    I've been rotating it, but there probably is an easier way.....thanks
