The company I now work for has a hardinge xr 760 and a xr 1500, I have been programming for years at another place that had all Haas machines. all the Haas machines used to run my G code in graphics to catch certain mistakes that I could of made. The machinist at this new place say that there machines have no such feature, I don't beleive it, does anyone know if this is possible? and if it is possible, what are the step by step procedures?......TY J.

thank you sir, I tried that, but it only gave me dia's and count, not the x and y diminsions, but that might come in helpful, any body else?

I have a 1/2" alum plate that has 85, 1 1/4" holes in it (not lined up with each other). i have to make a print for this part and wanted to make a chart of x & y coordinates for the holes. no lines, just a chart, is there a way to get the dim in the chart?

I just made a note in X3 at z10. and tried to project it, but it would not pick the note, but in translate it would, maybe it's fixed in x4
-
I did try, But in project, it does not reconize them, but in move it does... Funny
-
that did work Lasz, But i was tring to project them to z zero, because they are all at different z values, but that was helpful... TY
-
I'm not sure what your first comments were about Ron, But I didn't make the drawing, it was sent to me from Auto-Cad., Thank you Lasz, I will try that.......J.

no way hey....well thanks for looking...

using mcx3, I want to take what i'm looking at on the screen and make that the top view, 3d xform is where i should be but i can't figure out how to move all enities to the top view
-
not exactly what I want, I just want to know how to change any view that i'm looking at into the top view forever.
-
I'm making a 2-d drawing to be saved as a DWG,I am looking to change a isometric view to a top view, so it puts a 3-d model onto a 2-d drawing.
I've been rotating it, but there probably is an easier way.....thanks

I have tried, but nothing seems to change
