Good morning all,
I'm an okuma guy, on okuma lathes there is a magic button called "mid auto manual" that allows you to pause the machine in the middle of the program and move the machine manually while keeping the active X and Z numbers. Is there a feature on a haas like this?

Did you try performing the same boolean operation in an older version to validate that this is really a platform issue? I use Boolean a lot and 99 times out of a hundred the issues users in my company encounter are setup related. Could you provide some additional information please? Perhaps an Mcx FIle, stp file or a picture?
Thanks Peter.
I got it figured out. It's just a different process. I managex to get the exact results i was looking for. Thanks for your time.

Okay guys. I'm trying to do a simple boolean move with w solids, like I've done a million times before with older versions of mc.
What are the steps to a successful boolean cut move in 2019?
Thabks Ray.

I finished up an onsite project and was packing up my 22" Dell monitors I bought when Ray and I worked together. They wouldn't buy me good monitors so I bought my own like the computer I bought my own and made them pay me back. Glad you got you a decent system Ray and glad you are working again.
Thanks Ron,
Thanks for everything over the years.

I don't have the list infront of me, but we got a decent computer at a fair price directly from Dell. Thanks for all of your input guys.

Hey guys, we just bought Mastercam at my new job. We are looking at a new computer to run it. Looking for recommendations. What do we need and GO!

Is there a way to turn off the display screen on a mori mill without it having a display off button?
Thanks in advance.
-
That is correct ron.
-
Ron,
It has c axis lock, but no milling. I've been able to program it long hand and it does through the motions, but it wants to feed in rapid even with the G94.

I'm gonna need a drink.....LOL.
I know it can be done, we did it at my last job.

M808 didn't work. Trying 904 now.

I'll try that too. I know it's gonna be something simple, just not sure what. LOL.... I'll let you know.

Nothing changed. I checked those commands and for okuma M130 is a chucking error detecting OFF
the M131 is ON.
-
Thanks Colin, I'll let you know how it works.
-
Also the g94 makes it inches per minute so no spindle movement is required.
-
The G50 is a limit for the spindle, without a G50 the machine will alarm out and never get past that line.

Hi everyone,
Been a long time since I've posted in here. Does anyone know the codes for a parts catcher on a sl2500 with a MSG-805 control?
Thanks Ray....

Give your start more room to enter the thread and see if that helps.
