Hi Mike - I have PDF's for older versions. The newer versions you are able to preview the images within the software so they don't make the PDF's any longer. You unfortunately can't print these pdf's but you can view the images a lot easier and faster. I will email you a copy.
Thanks, Lindsay

ttran - after your second operation choose toolpaths and then stock model. Inside the stock model operation you can choose the previous toolpath as the source. Check out the What's new pdf file for X6 - http://www.mastercam.com/Products/Enhancements/Default.aspx
Thanks

Is there a download still available somewhere for Mastercam Demo disks? We had one a few years back we could send home with future programmers for training, They were limited to No Posting and No Saving. But still a great tool for Newbies or Sizing up material & getting cycle times.
We definitely have the demo disk (Home Learning Edition) available. Please contact your reseller for the download.
Thanks

Can you attach an image? or the MCX file? It sounds like you would most likely need to create a line between the two and trim the arcs accordingly.

After working with mokeane we realized that educational evaluation sims are actually demo versions of the program and the files will therefore not open in Mastercam. They are only meant to test out the product.
Thanks

Are you looking for Solidworks itself, or Mastercam for Solidworks?

The edge curves option is likely what you will use the most. Also, just to let you know, in X6 you don't need to create curves anymore to select edges of a solid.

Have you tried the hasp in another USB port? Sometimes the actual port is an issue.

Hi Kevin, I also came across this issue, it was moving my toolpath further away from the geometry every time I changed something in the parameters. CNC software has logged this issue so hopefully it will be fixed soon!
