  1. I would like to have a manual entry show up after the tool change, I tried of hand editing my programs here's an example of what I want.

  2. Just upgraded to x7 from x4. In x4 when I would switch machine type to Lathe my view would automatically change to D / Z

    but in x7 its stays in x / y / z view. Does anyone know how I can get my Lathe view back. I use it a lot to verify dimensions and now I have to think of my Y as my Z and take my X x2 to get my Dia's and its slowing me down

     

    any help is greatly appreciated Thanks

  4. I am using the Generic Haas 4ax Post that comes with Mastercam X6, I have made some mods and its working well but one thing is stumping me.

    I have Mastercam set properly with #2 in the Integer but it seems like its set to 0

    so Im thinking its in my post. It only does it in the top of the program

So Iv'e started to use MCX6 to write our lathe programs, I'm using the lpmaster post from this site but I really need it to post the way I used to wrtie lathe g-code by hand as we have 100's of lathe programs that we use and I need to keep them looking the same for our operators sake. Any help is very much appreciated.

    The M24 in 1st example causes problem as it controls my part catcher

    I really need it to look like 2nd example but am scratchin my head here

    I have editing a lot of my mill post and have done well but this lathe post has stumped me

  7. I cut alot of that Matl. and I agree with crazy millmam, we use 3/4 3insert cutter's with through air and 1/2 stepover .4 doc 3500rpm F28.5 all day on 1 set of inserts

  8. Hi everyone,

    My shop just bought a used (2004 model) HAAS 5 axis trunion table Mill, I will be the programmer for this machine and do not have alot of 5 axis programming experience.

    I will be using MCX4 with the generic HAAS 5axis post that comes with it. I am some what familar with editing post and would like to know if anyone is using this post, and what chages may have been done to increase perfomance.

  9. I just bought a new / better mouse to use for mcx4. for some reason the scroll wheel zooms out only. I have check mouse settings in windows7, and also in mcx4 config, cant get it to zoom in, is there another place to adjust/change this. PLEASE HELP
