Hello, OFAB Kiruna is a new Swedish company at eMastercam. We bought a used Mori NL2500SY-1250 in april this year. I cant find an option that sets the subspindle as tailstock. So i really want to know before i try anything, Can someone explain? How much pressure can you put on the piece etc, is there a sensor for this? Mapps II software. Panel is MSX-850, machine is installed 2005 november in norway. Imported this year to our company in Sweden. Is it nescessary to update the software to Mapps III? We have alot of problem with posting from mapps, probably are parameter settings. We also have an alarm msg that pops there and then, blowing out all servos. When using G92 machine sometimes stop exactly at the beginning of the cycle blowing all servos and you have to restart the machine. Weird is that it can run G92 for a week at different positions on the z-axis without any problem. And suddenly without warning it can blow the servos a whole day then it can run again for several days. This happens for both inner and outer G92 threads. Servo alarm codes, No: S01 SERVO ALARM:PR 0035 Z No: EMG EMERGENCY SRV No: T10 FIN WAIT 0080 And often when we had a blowout of the servos when machine is restarted, we get the following alarm and have to restart a few times again. SPINDLE SPEED ABNORMAL EX0490 M7492 Not even the engineers of Mori Seiki in Sweden can solve this(not yet at least). they have been here 3 times for a week and costs $$$ mola.
