Great thank you. I do have one book called Mastercam advanced multiaxis training writen by In house solutions. Its a good book but im on my own. I would like more questions answered.

I have been programming 5 axis mills for about 9 years now. I would say 95 percent of what I do is 3+2 positioning. I commonly use multi axis swarf and curve but not a lot of the other 5 axis toolpaths. My question is, would a 5 axis class from Mastercam corporate really help me learn and be efficient with the other toolpaths? Or is an online course a better route?

Has anyone had problems with holders not displaying right in verifying even though the holder shows right in the operation itself. For example I selected a Nikken VC collet holder in the operation, but in back plot and verify is shows as a ER16. Very frustrating, I selected the one I need but can’t verify properly. CNC software says I should be fixed in the next release, I’ve herd that before.

Do manual entry notes also work when using a file instead of just entered text.

I get the same error, my undefined tool profiles are unsupported for stock model
