Good morning,
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to save multiple feed and speed parameters within the same tool?
Thanks,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on this part. We have an Okuma horizontal and what i would like to do is lay the part on the pallet and use one of the multiaxis toolpaths to machine the cam surface with the side of an endmill while rotating the B axis. I very little experience using multiaxis toolpaths and am not sure which one is best to use and how to use it to get the results I'm looking for. I have attached a file.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advise you could offer.

anyone know how to make the tool list output by order of tool number, mine currently puts the tools in order by length?

Whenever I do a transform toolpath that contains operations that use a custom tool I get an error and the tool does not display correctly in backplot or verify, even though it works fine in the original operation. Does anyone know if transform toolpath supports custom tools, or do I have a problem with my custom tool definition?
Thanks!

Thanks! It makes sense now, I did get it to work.

I couldn't get it to work. Do both instances of drawMode in that line need to be changed?

I had the same problem translating a pocket tool path. Switched from NCI to geometry and that seemed to take care of it. Is there normally any advantage to using one or the other?

Thanks!

I have looked there and haven't been able to find it. What is weird is that when I pick the machine from the "machine type" drop down menu it is checked, but if I change machines through "files" in the machine group its not checked.

Just wondering if there is a way to make the "assign tool numbers sequentially" check box in tool settings stay checked so I don't have to do it every time I start a new program?
Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a setting that needs to be changed to view hidden lines on a part. Attached is a screen shot of a solid that was created in Inventor. Only the top portion of the holes are showing, when i move the part around the depths and connecting lines show up but go away when i stop moving it. Is there a setting for this or could it possibly be a video card issue?

Thanks Aaron!
I dont remember the error I was getting when too manager crashes and i hasn't happend today yet. I don't have to be working in tool manager for it to crash, I just have it open on the side and it just comes up with an error and closes. If it happens again I will take note of the error and post it.

Has anyone had trouble with tool manager crashing all the time?

With the new tool manager, is there a way to store multiple feed and speed settings with each tool for different materials?

Thanks!
Any idea if it is planned for a future release?
