Hi all. I am hoping to find some help. I just lost all of my tool paths after changing the Machine Definition. When the dialogue box came up to "Save Only Geometry" I selected ok. I changed the Definition and came back to no tool paths. The odd thing is that if I try to delete an entity I get the warning that it is associated to a tool path. Is there a way to restore the tool paths?
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the response Dan. I will look into the toolpath editor to accomplish the goal.

Hello,
We have recently tried to use the "adjust feed on arc move" feature without success. I did a search of topics and came up with one from years ago that never answered my question. Here is a simple example. I created a contour toolpath, staight line - arc - straight line. I am climb cutting the inside of a 2.0 dia arc with a 1.0 diameter endmill. My programmed feedrate is 44. i.p.m. "My calculations" state that the feedrate should drop to 22. i.p.m. when traveling the inside of the arc. MCAMX drops the feedrate down to my minimum feedrate setting of 2. i.p.m. If I create a toolpath cutting the outside of the radius the feedrate is reduced to 29.33 i.p.m.. My belief is that the feedrate should increase with this second path. The help topic seems to concur with my theory, but.... Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sonny

David,
What is the physical location of the selected geometry. Maybe that has something to do with it.

There are two areas you need to look at in the post. The first area defines the format. The second area specifies which format you want to use for each axis. I post 3 place prior to and 4 place after the decimal point. My post is set to fmt 2 for X, Y and Z. Hopefully this helps.

I had this problem start yesterday after I added chains to an existing solid operation. I regened the single operation only. Each time I reopened the file all toolpaths were dirty. This morning I regened "all" in the solids manager and so far no dirty ops when I open file.

MasterCam 2017 Update 3
Hoping someone has had the same issue. Let me start by saying that my guess is this is a Microsoft issue and not a MCam issue. We were using the Post Debugger on MCam X9. When using X9 turned the option on while logged in as a non administrator and it worked fine. We installed 2017 using the same process to install the program as when we installed X9. We logged in as administrator, installed the program and then changed the security settings to allow full access to the non administrator.
We have gone through MCam advanced configuration and enabled the Post Debugger for 2017 after logging in as administrator and using the non administrator account. The icon only appears when logged in as administrator. When non administrator is logged in the configuration dialog shows that the Post Debugger is enabled. We are on a network using a server. We do not allow full access or internet access when setting up the server accounts. Biggest question is why X9 worked and 2017 won't.
Thank you for any help.
