Hello all, I am new to using mastercam X6 on the lathe. I simply want to chamfer the backside of my part before parting it off. I cannot get the software to stop going in both directions during the process. It starts to cut the chamfer, then the toolpath goes to a X value that would actually part it off, and then it goes backwards up the part to "finish" the backside. I've tried playing with the Lead In/ Out, and the cutting direction on the Rough Parameters page. I would have thought that telling it to only move negative there would help, but it still does it. I tried one point selection and chain selection. Any thoughts? Thanks
