Hello, I'm seeking both moral guidance and technical advice. Four years ago I was layed off from a large corporation that closed it's machine shop to transfer much of the work we did to China. I was the last to leave and it was an amicable severance. (I was ready to go) I was told to take anything I wanted. One of the few things I took with me was the legally purchased sim for our MasterCam software level X2. I'm currently teaching at a large university in which I now supervise a Student Shop which fully complies as "Educational". We have a ProtoTrak DPM SX2 3 axis mill but do not have any CAM software. I would like to use the sim I have to demonstrate to management the value of having CAM software. So far, I can't decipher all the MasterCam legal stuff? Can I plug this in and use it without fear of prison? If so, where and how do I find a post processor that will work correctly for Southwestern's ProtoTrak DPM SX2? Thoughts an advice would be most appreciated. Steve
