What finally worked for me was what Ryan suggested in post #28. The first time I tried it, it wouldn't work, but the second time it did. I must've mistyped a character the first time.

I don't have SW, and I've tried it both ways having X7 both open and closed. I get the same error message.

I hope I have admin privileges, it's my company...

Why should I have to buy a seat of SW just to open up a SLDPRT in MasterCam? That makes no sense.

I contacted my reseller and it turns out that it's a $500 add on. Ouch...
