Hi y'all,

So I open up Mcam this morning and notice my Planes Manager isn't working...I can display it on / off from the View menu but can't select a plane or do anything in there. It was working fine on Saturday...Any ideas on how to fix this ?

Using 2019 (latest & greatest) , & the Generic Haas 3 axis mill post...

Here's what I currently output...(simple drilling example code)

What do I need to do to get rid of the X0.  , and just have that line output as G28 Y0.   ?  Getting tired of manually deleting it all the time...

Hi All,

So we can now(again) have single key keyboard shortcuts...a couple examples that I use are ,  S = Create Spline , or T= Trim....Problem is when I want to use the Alt activated keystrokes , the single key shortcuts override the Alt keystrokes...

Ex , Alt+T (Transform) opens the Trim function....or in Backplot , trying to use the "S" key to step thru a tool path opens the Create Spline 

Is there a fix for this yet ? Or just avoid the single key shortcuts till' there is ?

Find the "Activate Solid Selection" on the General Selection toolbar...Then you'll be able to select solid edges , faces , or bodies...

Got Solids ? If so, use the hole axis feature to create a point at the bottom of all of them...then set your drill depth (in the linking parameters) to incremental

They're not old or worn; everything here is less than three months old.  I agree that ER shouldn't be used for heavy cuts; that's why I got the Nikken milling chuck.  Are the hydraulics much better than the mechanical, and how much more expensive are they?

Nope...

We have the 1000psi on our UMC-750....Works great , BUT , it is freaking LOUD !!! Also , make sure to clean/replace the screen underneath the pump that's in the coolant tank....If that gets clogged , and the TSC tank runs dry or really low , it will alarm out your program.

I am having a problem with Mastercam X9.  hen I go to save files it takes a few minutes to save.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Move your solid /surfaces to their own level , and turn it off BEFORE you save...

I only lock Transform Operations...That way if I need to edit the source op for any reason , it will still utilize the Multi-Threading. Then un-lock & regen the Transform op...Otherwise you have to wait for the Source & Transform op(s) to regen with no threading.
