  1. i am looking to force a C zero move on a move where the A axis returns to A zero

right now for example if the position of the machine is A-45 C-45 if i position back

    to A0 the C axis stays at C-45 for a result of A0 C-45

I would like it to be C0 every time the A axis returns to A0

    Thanks

  2. No

    card is nvidia quadro k4000

    driver is dated 1/10/2017

    21.21.13.7662

and i spoke a bit prematurely I guess, it did fix my problems with picking on things but it messed up others.

    AHAAAAA....... wtf

when i got to define a tool there is at times nothing to pick so once again i shut mastercam down and its fine for

    a while.

is the card certified by MC? how can i tell?

    thanks

  3. Is there a setting in X9 for brightening up highlighted colors on the icon menu on top of screen and also

say like when you open a toolpath and select tool if there are alot of tools in the operation i can not see which tool is selected. The color set up in gereral kind of sucks, is there a way to customize any of these settings?

see the second pic (color 1) where  tool 3 is highlighted, it is not highlighted when opening the operation (color)

it is a very faint color when 1st opened.

    Thanks

  4. why is it when I set a file in the backplot/verify area to use to verify my program if I close the session I have to go in

and reselect my file to use to verify upon reopening the file?

is there some kind of file save that needs to be turned on for this in my settings?

  5. Thanks Ron, I will look into this a bit, what your saying about one post is more what I would like to see, I will look into this a bit more today,

I have done exactly that in other cam software that's why I figured it was possible here. Just a bit new to the post side of master cam.

  6. To be a bit more specific, I would want this to be done only when positioning to mill or drill in 2d or 3d motion when profiling milling or drilling in a rotated fixed axis.

after the machining is done in a rotated position I want the c axis to return to zero if the  a axis does so, and only at a tool change is not exactly what I am looking for.

a separate post would be used when doing any true 5 axis work.

Thanks in advance for any further advice.
