  1. Is there a way to make an M00 work if using the same tool without selecting "Force tool change"? Why doesn't an M00 overwrite everything?

ex, I was chamfering a part, selected M00 before operation in the Misc values tab, wanted the program to stop BEFORE the next operation, then flip the part to side 2, then have the NEXT operation chamfer side 2. Instead it just went right on running bypassing the M00 I wanted.

     Thanks ,

  2. Is there any way to turn this function off? I just want to click my entities, not hold the mouse button and drag, if I try to just click, sometimes it works, most times it just keeps saying "select an entity", no matter how many times I select one, when I select the 2nd entity, it acts as if I never selected the first. I hope my description makes some sense.

another thing stumping me, when trimming, the last entity selected stays active for the next trim, is there a setting for that I'm missing

    thank you

  3. Is there a post setting that if I select an M00 before an operation using the same tool as previous operation that the M00 will be posted. If I Force tool change it works, but then force tool change gets locked on for all operations after wards, unless I remember to turn it off. I would like to think M00 before Operation would post an M00 before the operation no matter what tool is being used.

    thank you

  4. This more colors crash/freeze has been bugging me a lot lately. I'm glad it's not just me though. I only started getting it in 2019 though.

A couple times, I've had to reboot my computer because after a crash trying to restart mastercam it would just sit there saying allocating memory at the bottom left of teh screen. Computer reboot was the only way to get it to reopen.

  5. Trying to install X3 from download on my laptop and keep getting this warning

Error applying transforms. Verify that the specific transform paths are valid

    C:WINDOWSInstaller{C09EBC22-19CF-4678-BAFB-46EAB02261D3}1033.mst

Any ideas what to check? I've tried 3 different registry cleaners and see no mention of Mastercam in the registries.

The only thing I saw was the Mastercam X icon in the control panel, and that didn't do anything before X2 was installed

I re-installed X2 with no problem, tried installing X3 from the disk this time and get the same warning.

    Thank for any help

  6. After reading gcodes reasoning,

I may have scaled a large number of entities and then tried changing levels. I'll try later today on my next part and see what happens.

I'll try to remember what I was working on when it happened last week and try it again.

I'm running it too and it happened last week
