  1. The new backplot and verify uses the NCI data from Mastercam. The nice thing about the new backplot and verify is you wont see different results between backplot and Verify as in previous version. This is because it now uses the same NCI data.

To "verify" your G-Code you would have to post it and then import it into verification software as you do in Vericut.

Not true. Verify and backplot still show different results!

  2. Is there a problem with drilling in the Simulation verify in X6 MU2..... (32 bit) Windows 7?

Mastercam verify works fine as does backplot, but when i use the simulation verify the drill cycles always seem to be too deep. Its as if the cutters start too close to the part!

Everything else works perfect. Its just any sort of drill cycle that don't.

  3. Hi all.

I just changed the colours on my background. Problem is that the lower half is a light grey colour so i can no longer see the GView, WCS and T/CPlane at the bottom of the screen.

Is there any way to change the colour of these?

  4. Hi all,

Just noticed that when i delete a chain from a contour and hit regen it throws up an error saying 'The operation has 0 toolpath entities remaining' which you would expect to see since the chain has been deleted....But, it just regens it anyway, and when you go into backplot it runs the old chain that has just been deleted.

    Is this a bug?

    we're using X4.

  5. Hi all

Great to finally see that the tool holder definition is now available in all 2D toolpaths smile.gif .

Just wondering if or when it will be available in the 3D toolpaths ie. surface finish parallel, flowline...etc.?

Slightly disapointed to see it isn't there yet.

  6. Yes John i've tried 4 different mice with all three systems. In fact 1 of the systems (Mesh) came with a basic logitech cordless mouse & keyboard that required No drivers just the generic one's that come with windows.

What Card are you running John?

I presume this card will run full antialiasing cos thats wat i'm looking for. The 8800gt flickers in dynamic rotation & Backplot with antialiasing enabled.

  7. I've still had no joy getting my 8600GT & 8800GT cards to work with Mastercam frown.gif . So it looks like i'm going to have to fork out for a couple of new cards.

Been looking around and saw a Quadro FX3400 and was wondering if this would be any good for X2 MR2 SP1?

    Thnx

  8. Ok i've got the same as ur sreen shot.

My problem is a scrambled screen when i try to dynamic rotate and when i try backplot it scrambles and flickers at the same time.

I've tried different mice & driver combinations as sugested to no avail. The problem is the same on 3 completely different rigs. the only thing they have in common is the 8 series Geforce cards.

I was just wondering wat settings & drivers other users with the 8 series cards use. ie. Antialiasing, Anastropic filtering etc. in the nvidia control panel.
