I created a custom tool geometry from a dxf file from tool manufacturer. File was metric so when I uploaded to tool library it was reading geometry as inches. 3 inch tool measuring 76 inches. How do I convert tool file from metric to inches?
Thanks

If you run into this again and have to use VF2 and drip feed, try using CIMCO EDITOR we use it all the time and it works fine. We have 2 HBM with FANUC Series 16m that have small capacity.
Good luck!!

Also just tried to duplicate problem and now seems to be fine, must have been the gremlins!!

I looked in Settings/Configurations/Start/Exit and every thing is set to where it needs to be. When I select "save as" on a new file that I have created from a new file the drop down is set to save as an mcx-7 file.
If I open a new file from a solidworks file and "save as" I have no issues which is what is confusing.

I was able to just manually add the ".mcx-7" and that corrected the issue but I never had to do that before!

I am currently having trouble saving files as an MX7 file. When I open a new file and create a model and cam file and try to "save as" mastercam is saving as and unrecognizable file. Such as "555 File", or "5-12 File. is there something in my settings messed up.
Thanks

Will this work for Mastercam 2018? Have you updated it?
