I know it did at one time as we used it at the company I previously worked at for a bunch of 400U and 600U's with the Heidienhien control.  Not sure what the current agreement with Autodesk is.

I've never used the Vericut Module but we use Production Module by ThirdWave Systems here and it works quite well (more so on Fanuc machines, a bit of a pain for Seimens controlled machines without additional cost).  Pricey but pays for itself especially if you have medium/high volume production.

We use some Garr V4 and V5's for 17-4, titanium, and cobalt chrome.  It's what we have stocked and there are many different configurations that are usually available next day if we don't have it.  I'll 2nd the IMCO statement we have just finished testing some of their IPC7 and IPC9 end mills and they work fantastic, they have blown all other end mills that we have tried out of the water on a cost per part basis.

Cylindrical milling should help you out if you are machining on the OD of the part.  I believe it is G107.  You can also calculate the federate (in the post) to switch to degrees per minute whenever a "C" axis move is called

Yeah, it was used for a demo at one of the tooling shows.  It would have some application if the thread was not along the X-axis though. 

We haven't purchased one for a several years but you'll be 500k+ depending on options

They are fantastic machines!  Incredibly accurate and we haven't had many issues with them at all.  The jaws/sheet metal can be tucked under the A-axis a bit more for clearence.  A great machine for something that fits in ~ 1" bar or less. 

When we did the whirling it was on a B-Axis mill turn (Willemin 408MT).  The B-Axis was set to the helix angle of the thread and then we just used a curve machining path (not in Mastercam, it was programmed in Partmaker/Powermill).

It is possible, just depends on the length of the screw....I've done it with an HSK40 in the past, not sure if they make them for CAT40.
