  1. Just wanted to report back and say thanks. I got it working. One of the first things I did when editing the post was switch that to 3, but some of the axes were backwards. I started playing with vectors to make them right, but it still looked screwed up so i put it back to 0. Later I realized there was a Misc Integer that I could set to reverse the bias on the secondary axis instead. That worked like a charm without messing up anything else. Machine is now up and running, thanks again!!!
  2. Hey guys, first post here (no pun intended...) We just got a 2000 Deckel Maho DMU50 eVolution, Millplus control v320, no TCPM This machine rotates the B axis 180 degrees on a 45 degree axis in between Y- and Z+ I've got the generic post configured to give me a program that runs and machine is happy with, but our 5 axis motion is obviously off since the primary and secondary rotary axes are not perpendicular to each other. My boss doesn't want to buy a post unless it's absolutely necessary, and we don't need lots of features like 3d comp etc... I don't mind re-posting if need be. Is there any way to configure the generic post for this axis arrangement???? I've played with the vectors, matrix and such, but I'm under the impression that the vectors of the ratary axes are fixed in relation to each other. Also tried contacting some of the training guys offering moneys for info regarding this, but no reply from any of them. HELP!!?!?!?!?!??? Thanks in advance~
