The Multus post is still being tweaked. It is close though. Honestly though, I have Mastercam MT, Esprit, and TopSolid on my PC. None of them can post 100% for the Multus U series. I have cases for all that still require hand editing, even with the "certified posts".

Guys, my name is Chris Kozell and I work for CNC Software(Mastercam). I work out of the Partners In Thinc in Charlotte NC with Okuma America. The Multus U post in the Mastercam MT should work great with no post edits unless you are trying to do something wonky. I use that machine environment alot and have received awesome feedback from end users that the post functions very good. If you are having to make edits please, please contact your reseller and have them check to make sure you are running the latest version. If not, dont hesitate to contact me. Thanks for your support!

  2. Guys, I am the new  Mastercam OEM guy working out of the Okuma Partners in thinc office in Charlotte, NC. Contacting your local dealer is the best route but I didnt think they are going to give out the whole EXE file. Let your dealer know specifically what machine/control you need and I am sure they can help.

With that note, I am working with the post group at Mastercam to prove out the Okuma post and get the certified from Okuma Corporate. Mastercam will be announcing the machines as they get done and will be available through your reseller.  Please feel free to contact me with question and I will do my best to help.

  6. I have a couple of idea's. Under settings, config and toopath tab, uncheck display surf/plane intersections. Also when doing toolpath on a solid and using the regular 3d toolpaths, under the advance settings check skip hidden face check for solid bodies.

Let me know if you see an improvement.

  7. Anybody out there using an Agie in X2? I am having a Hell of a time trying to get the code right. I keep getting this crazy double move when i change passes. Anyone else run into this?

  8. Jeff,

try disable hardware acceleration under settings, config, and screen tab. You will see at the top left a check box for it. Give it a try.

If that doesn't work try to do a repair with the system disk. Make sure when you do, you are log in as admin.
