Hello, as my title says, I am new to machining stainless steel. I'm working mainly in ss304 and ss316. Using a Fadal VMC15 and having problems mainly with drilling and tapping. Could someone please point me to a feed/speed resource as well as explain good drilling and tapping strategies. I do general maintenance on a multitude of parts, most of the drilling I do is 1/2" diam and smaller and tapping up to 1/2". Looking forward to your input. Thanks, Steve.
