I have a couple parts im trying to nest on a sheet of foam...when mastercam lays it out it contours all the parts but only cuts out the original two and not all. can anyone help?
My skill in mastercam is very limited. I have an .iges file that I need to machine into wood. I can import the file but can't orientate it into a position that my xyz is on top.
When I create my stock the part is runs across and through the stock
Can I fix this?..if so any help is appreciated...I know this us a very basic issue for most but I'm struggling with this.
im trying to create tool paths for a yoke..the materials are either ash or cherry.
i import the part from a solidworks file.
when it opens in solidworks i cant set the stock properly and the grid is on a plane i cant work with.
can someone please help me get started on this

I'm having trouble creating surfaces to select for machining of a part from an stl file.
I can import the image but can't select surfaces. I'm using x5.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
