  1. Sorry but you seem to be the video card guru - hoping this would get your attention and others.

I posted a question about the quadro 4 chpset that I am having trouble with.

    Here is the question again:

Board is Compaq, chip set=Quadro4 750XGL, 128 MEG

Computer is a Dell Dimension 4600 with 1 Gig of RAM.

    Problem is as follows:

Cannot shade correctly. Tried turning doen hardware accel. set refresh rate to 60HZ - set opengl to off in MC - nothing seems to work.

    Please help

  3. We posted a question yesterday under JoeB - we are still having some issues - but we did use M33 to unclamp the 'A' axis even though it is meant to be unclamped by default. This got the rotary running without clamping and unclamping at evry move - now te issue is that even though the move in A should be say 2.35 deg the rotary is rotating about 25 deg. Any ideas ?

  4. Just trying to bring some balance to this generally one sided (politically) forum.

People seem to use the phrase un-American for something they disagree which I deem unfair. That is why I ask in all seriousness what does un-American mean?. Secondly I have as much right to be on this forum and respond to postings as the next person.

If one wishes to start a political thread one then one has to deal with responses to that political thread.

The response to the un-American was to iowajim not rekd.

  5. Again you miss my point.

Wars fought by America (most that I can remember)

    since 1941.

Roosevelt, Truman - WW2 - were they soft on the Germans or Japanese ? Democrats if I recall ?

Truman - Korea - was he soft on the communists?

    Eisenhower - Republican

Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon -Vietnam (i Beleive Kerry fought in that one) 2 democrats one republican - were they soft on the communists?

    Ford - ?

    Carter - (well)

Reagan - 200 + marines killed in Beirut - what exactly was done in response?

    Bush Sr. - Gulf War

    Clinton - Yugoslavian conflicts, Somaila

    Bush Jr - Iragmuire, Afghanistan

    NEXT -

Besides which Kerry has stated he would not withdraw the troops.

    AS FAR AS SPAIN -

The majority of the population of Spain was

    always against going to Iraq.

  6. I do not understand how one can equate being a democrat with it being a vote for the terrorists. The terrorists do not give a damn who is in office - if one takes the argument that they have been at war with the US for 20+ years then that covers Reagan, Bush and Clinton. Islamic terrorists are simply anti-western - be they Republican, Democrat, Green whatever. Wars fought by the US have been fought while both parties have been in power. I hardly think that whether Gore or Kerry were/are in office there would not be a response to any attack on the US. Just as in the cold war period Democratic Presidents Kennedy and Johnson fought the communists in Vietnam.

  7. It seems that mastercam does not have a separate field for taps in the actual material setup for feeds and speeds -to get something more realisitic one would have to set feed/speed uand set to tool or simply overwrite the values mastercam calculates which seem to bee for drilling only.
