  1. Oh wow thanks for the wireframe method guys it worked!
  2. Hi Reko thanks for your quick reply for my class now I have just started milling on mastercam and have not heard of your "Surface High Speed Opti-Rough" so is there a way to chain the proper tool path?
  3. Hi I am a student learning mastercam x8 milling now and I have a part which I have to currently do a rough milling on the contour of the component however due to the step on the 2 top surfaces, I only can chain the two parts separately which results in the cutter cutting the two parts differently which results in destroying the whole shape. How can I chain in a way only the whole outer contour is milled? I have attached the pictures for better understanding of the problem. Thanks.
  4. Hi, I am a student doing mastercam x8. However when ever I try to cut off my work piece, the tool that I am given to part off is too fat and it hits the work piece because the diameter of the work piece is longer than the part off head of the tool so the tool will hit the work piece before it can finish cutting off. I just want to know is there another way around this problem? Thanks.
