I found this and I removed the "*" and I still get i0 and j0 in the nc file. Any other ideas?

our post is putting an i0 or j0 when making the NC file.

What do I have to change to make it not put the i0 and j0 in 3d contours? I know i need to put (d)Delta in, but which line? or do I just add an fs 10, and then change the fmt on the arc output?

Ok, this might be a dumb question, but older versions of Mastercam use to have a button for "use last" point for rotating. How de we use this is X3?

Has anyone figured out how to fix this issue? Or is it something we need to wait on the the MR1 realease?

I am having the same thing happening to me. It seems to be overwriting my mtb files and the toolbar states are halfway down the screen.

We tried the 158.63 drivers and it did the same thing.

The new twist is if you open the file it will crash Mastercam, but if you have a blank screen and merge the file it opens with no problem.

Only 1 computer out of 3 is having this issue. We checked our video settings and all 3 are running everything the same. The files that are crashing are from several other users and an outside vendor.

Any other ideas?

Does anyone use a screen sharing program?

We have 2 designers that work from home and we are looking at software so we can see and manipulate the other persons screen.

Any info would be gretly appreciated.

We did disable the hardware acceleration and that did not help.

Any ideas on how to get the 91.36 driver? I went to the website yesterday and it said I had the latest at 84.29.

I went to NVIDIA's web site this morning and 84.29 is the latest driver.

Does anybody know if the nvidia drivers would be the issue?

We have the FX2500M nvidia video card and the driver version is 84.29

My boss is having the same problem. It had worked fine and now it will crash when opening some mcx files. The files are even really small. Me and our other designer can open these files with no issues. We are all running Dell M90 laptops.

We tried the disable hardware acceleration and that made no difference.

Any other ideas?

I had Mastercam crashing on startup also. I uninstalled the latest Microsoft security update and now my Mastercam does open. It still did crash once, but it has opened 6 times in a row without crashing.

I am having this problem also. I was doing a print last Friday, and when I opened it Monday morning I had about 5 dimensions and a few lines and arcs. I had the back up set to 5 files and all 5 of them were bad also.

I also had the same problem later that day on a different print, but I caught it right away and I retrieved the backup file.

I also have the crash on the start up which I am trying to fix right now.

I did the save as and changed the extension to iges and it worked.

It still would be nice if it worked the same way as in the previous versions. I export iges all the time to bring into Pro/e.

I tried the save some and the only extension it gives me is MCX. I am on X2 MR1.

Did MX2 MR1 change the option to export only the visible layer? If so, how do you do it?

Did these changes stop Mastercam from crashing 10-20 times a day?

We are trying to install nvidia drivers on our Dell m90 laptops. We have had problems Mastercam crashing, and we are trying to install drivers from nvidia instead of Dell. The problem we are having is when we install the drivers(77.56,84.26 or 91.36), we get an error saying : "The nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. setup will now exit"

We have a nvidia fx2500M vidieo card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In X2 is there a way to export only the levels you have shown and not the ones that are turned off?

Where do I adjust the hardware acceleration?

We both are having crashes in the afternoon, not in the mornings, with 1 and 2 sessions of Mastercam open.

Hi,

We just got Dell m90 laptops at work, and we both are having problems with Mastercam X crashing. It crashes from 10 - 15 times a day, and with various functions from translating, dragging, drafting, and changing attributes. Are there any setting to check, or will MX2 take care of this?

We are running windows XP, but one other pc is also XP, and there is not the problem crashing like this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We are trying to delete blanked entities, how do you do this in Version X?

The only way we have found to do this is to unblank them and delete them. In version 9 we used to be able to delete them in the blanked area. Any suggestions?

Thanks for looking into this for us.

I did just have it crash again, and my boss had it do it to him yesterday. What I noticed was the same is that they both crashed when we were trying to put the attributes on a new level and a new color.
