Hi Brian,
I have been down this same road with this same card and am sorry to say I never got it to work well with Mastercam. (NT4sp6)
slow/corrupt dialogue boxes, etc, etc...
I gave up and swapped it for a Firegl card and have never looked back, although the Toolpath/Verify component to Mastercam has always been taxing on resources.

Hi all,
I have both a 3003 and a 4000 series spacecontroller (I use UG). They are a great product and I find 3D work primitive without them. But, I think you'd be disappointed if you went out and purchased a s.b. for use with Mastercam. Mastercam will only allow about 3 rotations or zooms and closes down the driver until you restart it. V7 and V8 both do this. whatever you buy, test it first.

Hi Scott,
I have a great face surface model you can have (originally the Robert White/Fastsurf demo face) Email me if you can handle a 2mb MC8 attachment. I can't seem to upload it to the FTP page for whatever reason...
I have machined it in timber with a scaled z value with great results.

Hi guys, I have only just come across this thread and hope maybe your experiences might help me.
We have numerous Mills including a Deckel Maho DMU125p and a DMU60T both of which I am having problems posting for (they have the TNC430 control). Currently I must break all helical interpolations into small line moves (e.g. multisurface/rough helix entry) and I like to utilise the arc filter in finish toolpaths when I can. Has anybody a post that can handle this? If so - is it available?
I can live with the post I have but it is a real pain having to program in two different fashions because I haven't a good post. Our other machines (e.g. Makino, Mazak, etc) have no troubles with plane shift or G2/G3 with a Z feed.
Thanks for any help you can provide...
Arc moves instead of linear?

G'day Hugh,
the M2 post I gave you will output G18 and G19, if it can. I use multisurf scallop toolpaths a lot and rarely see any filtering affect other than G17. If you like give me a call when your back at work.
