    Thanks for all the help!!! I’m sure glad I found this forum. Everything worked out great! I am working on a 1/2-14 NPT outer thread next. Just found out it’s tapered. Not sure where to start tho, can use some help.

    Ok, I’m threadmilling a 9/16-24 UNEF 2A outer thread. The O.D is going to be .558 should I be programing the threadmill to .5117 Minor Dia??? Thanks again, this is my first time threadmilling something

    ok thanks! I am using the threadmill feature, I just don’t have the tool drawn up. I’m using an endmill with same diameter as the threadmill to program the thread. I assume that’s really all I need.

    Hello, I’m new to the forum and had a basic question about threadmilling. Programming a part with mastercam and was wondering if the thread pitch needs to be inputed as inches in mastercam? I’m trying to threadmill a 9/16-24 thread. Thanks for any help
