hi there, i was wondering if someone else encounter following problem in x2: i was programming a part with several highspeed toolpath. i decided to change one more highspeed pass to another .like waterline-scallop)and i got the error cut found. yes i did check ,planes, depth cut,etc.... i restarted the computer many times, since the mastercam dealer said it has some to do with the speed of my computer. well it s brand new dell 64bit,3ghz,8gb. doubt it is. i am juist confused since the previouse toolpath worked. after regenerating it it wont. happened a lot.
any ideas?

i ve been using a 3d-tester for years. and it never failed. its a little pricy, but it pays off at the end. it s also great to measure ur part, while its on the machine in all 3 axis.

hi there
I had just recently the same problem.
I ended up with create surfaces from all solid faces and then cut or trim those to my desired machinearea.
maybe someoneelse has a better solution? i hope in version X , they add the containment boundary for 4th axis stuff

acctually i finally figuered it out. i used to control the axis by just a point rather a chain. parallel 5 axis seems to work best.
