  1. didnt work any of those ideas. i completley reinstalled mastercam. started even a different part and it still wont creat highspeed toolpath. even my mc dealer couldnt figure this out. am about to throw a wrench in my pc......

    if anyone has another solution, please let me know....

  2. hi there, i was wondering if someone else encounter following problem in x2: i was programming a part with several highspeed toolpath. i decided to change one more highspeed pass to another .like waterline-scallop)and i got the error :no cut found. yes i did check ,planes,depth cut,etc.... i restarted the computer many times, since the mastercam dealer said it has some to do with the speed of my computer. well it s brand new dell 64bit,3ghz,8gb. doubt it is. i am juist confused since the previouse toolpath worked. after regenerating it it wont. happened a lot.

    any ideas?

    i just wanna tell you , how helpful this forum is for me in the past.i am one of the silent readers, who gets a lot of good advice here.thx

    anyway, i do have a question about a plastic material I never heard of before.its called peek (polyetheretherketone). does anyone know that? and if so, what machining characteristics does it have?is it like abs or more like ultem?

    I had just recently the same problem.

    I ended up with create surfaces from all solid faces and then cut or trim those to my desired machinearea.

    maybe someoneelse has a better solution? i hope in version X , they add the containment boundary for 4th axis stuff
