So let me get this straight
1. i write a program in mastercam
2. i use sweep in it
3. i have wear in tool
4. my operator can not adjust for wear in the tool
5. I have to have some one re compile the program every dam time i get tool wear on need adjustments?
Complete garbage made my decision Mastercam is complete crap!

real simple :
internal Octagon with 15 degree draft inward turned cone with lathe operation initially!
Used 2-D sweep to do internal oct 1/4 radi in corners used flat end mill then added another 2D-sweep to cut to 0 with Ball end mill and take out steps! Looks great on simulation.
not touching part so goto use wear on endmill compensation! No cant do that ? WTF? Any suggestions besides going in every time and changing tool diameter ?

so the solution is to buy a different machine with 3D cutter compensation Its the fact that i have to adjust a program and re compile it constantly!
So if i write the program in straight G code i can use the simple wear compensation on the standard CNC Mill I own but if i use the overpriced bug ridden user unfriendly unorthodox Mastercam i either have to recompile the program constantly in a production environment or buy a differant CNC
