  1. I'm chaining the same geometry for two machines (separate machine groups, one nc/one xxl) on mill cnc mastercam. I'll chain the sequence of parts nested on a sheet, and all is fine. When I switch to chain the same parts (same sequence) for the other machine group, the lines become perforated. I'm still able to add chains to them, it's just more confusing. Can I toggle this off? I believe this is possibly an option for a quick rechain of the same toolpaths, and would use it, if I could figure it out. I started messing with "chain similar", but don't know it and would like some advice from anyone out there. Thanks, Chad
  2. My company recently added a cnc router (Morbidelli m400), and I've been instructed through my current support to set my cut parameters (running Mastercam 2020) compensation type to control (our other machine was wear). We're a cabinet/fixture shop, so typically run 4' x 8's of wood sheet goods, parts nested with 3/4" spacing and a 1/2" border. I use the backplot "quick verify" option to visually confirm that my parts aren't cutting into each other. When we switched from wear to control, I lost this option for some reason. So now, I am switching to wear to verify correct toolpathing, and switching back to control for posting, which is time consuming and I'm hoping someone out here can give me some options, or help me suss out what I'm doing wrong. to clarify, I have the quick verify button, it just changes nothing when I have it highlighted as an option Troubleshooting from our support has had me confirm that the "simulate cutter compensation" button was check (it was) and to update my video driver on my pc.. The morbidelli takes xxl which translated to pgm (our old Heian router takes nc), which apparently doesn't like the wear option any suggestion/feedback? Thanks, Chad
