I'm using a ball mill to finish out a curve, but instead of the tip of the ball running along the tip of the curve, I end up with a shape that looks like the seagulls you draw in 3rd grade. Is this a stepover issue? Depth? Any suggestions are welcome.

Is there a way to get rid of the defining wireframe entities for a solid after creating the solid? They make a lot of clutter, so I want to get rid of them. Any tips?

I am putting numbers on an address stone, using a v-shaped bit. Here is the part file I have.

I have been working with Mastercam for a few months now, but for the first time now, I need to do an engraving toolpath. I have next to no idea what things I need to select and I can't quite get it to generate even. The Mastercam Help isnt very instructive on how to set these up either. If you have any advice or tutorials, please send them my way. If you have any questions or want to see the file, let me know and I can post it. Thanks.

Update: I rewrote the program somewhat. I believe the issue could have been that i was transforming an existing transform toolpath. Any insight?

I have a program that i just drew up and when I try to verify it, I get this error message. Anyone else have experience with this issue? The other toolpath groups in my file verify fine, but this one does not.

I have a piece I am milling with a pretty big pocket. towards the bottom, it gets two nubs that don't get milled off. Besides changing the bit, are there some parameters I can change to adjust to mill these?

I use dynamic transform to do stuff like this. you should be able to input a degree value if you rotate using the gnomon. Select one of the segments bordering an axis line and type in your angle and it should rotate correctly.

I use mastercam for the toolpath writing  at a stonecutting business, and I only have a basic understanding of the program and how toolpaths work. I have a few pieces that have a rounded top on them, but after I run the program i end up with about a half inch of flat space where the round should be. Is there a way to adjust the program to account for this and generate a rounded top?

If any further details are necessary, I will be glad to provide them.
