I am very new to mastercam. I am looking to use mastercam to thread several acme threads on a Harrson alpha 550s. It has a manaul and cnc option. So with mastercam I want to stagger the threading tool from side to side. Then the last pass will be cutting all 3 sides. How do I preform this operation? Quick note. We have a doosan cnc lathe. It is 3 years old. I has staggered threading as an opton. But its just for that machine. No g code with it. I am looking to cut a 2.75 x 4 acme. Any help is much appericaited!
