Hello All. I am using Autocad mechanical 2018. After designing my object in 3D, I am exporting it in stp format for cnc machine (mm dimension). When the step file of the drawing is opened in mastercam, the file opens up in a different scale and not what I have designed. When going for the scaling factor to resize the drawing, there is variation. My object length is 260.00 mm. After importing the step file in mastercam, it shows enlarged/scaled up object. When going for the scaling down, the dimension length that I get comes as 260.102 and not 260.00 mm. Can anyone suggest solution for this? I have attached my autocad files as well as the image of dimension that I am getting after importing the step file in mastercam. source 3d.dwg 1a.stp 1b.stp

When I receive a step file from a customer all the dimensions are nominal. Does anyone know of an easy way to adjust certain dimensions up or down so that all dimensions are in the middle of the tolerance? For example I would have to shift the geometry of the 5.000 bore up .0025" and the 5.200 bore up .005". I currently do this with the translate feature but I have to reconnect all the other geometry to it. This is a somewhat error prone procedure. Thanks for any help,

I have a question that might already have been awnsered in this forum, but couldnt find it so I will ask my question. 1) Has anybody have had a problem after selecting the edge in 3d mode, you have to select each face in loop? for some reason mastercam wont let me select in 3d mode for contour toolpath "edge & loop" at the same time to create a toolpath, and I have noticed thru videos that you should be able to select more than on chaining option in 3d mode to follow solid step files. Also I hope my question makes sence.
