Hi all,

I’m starting to utilize the subprogram box while transforming tool paths. Usually translate in one particular direction a certain number of times. Works great in incremental and being a revolve tool path with small step over, it cut the program down to a size that didn’t even need to be dnc’d to the machine. However, I’m finding the need to do the same thing, except the cavity grid is so sporadic and to numerous to use g54, g55, g56, etc. How can I program using subs when there isn’t an equal number of cavities, and not in any specific direction, and end up with the sub being spit out one time. Prior to v8 I would manually type out the cavity center lines. Thanks in advance

As a side note, I have learned more in this forum than any other source. Thanks very much to all.
