Y Axis Machining

Need some help with drawing and creating toolpaths of the feature in the picture. I have this part that has a flag machined into it and I want to use a ball endmill from a live cross working tool to machine it using X and Y axis. From the centerline it measures .403 to the top of the flag (.536 top to bottom) and .246 wide. I've tried everything I know but the endmill keeps coming in like I was using the C axis. Thanks for any help!

Is this on a lathe?

In Toolpath parameters at the bottom is Rotary Axis Control, select Y axis

Yes, it is in a lathe. Even if I select "Y" it still comes out like C axis. Which the more I think about it the more I think that might be the better way to go. Part looks so big on the screen, I'm forgetting it's only .250 wide!

I've seen that before. It looks goofy in back-polt but it does actually work the way it's supposed to on the machine. I run and program a STY30 HAAS.
