chook Sort the chain?

Recommended Posts

Newbie questions:  When I try to sort the chain?.
......

    if (op != NULL)
    {

        //short n;
        //n = op->u.prm_cntr.ch_sort.sort_method;  //delete

        if (op->db.ent_count>=3)

        {

        op->u.prm_cntr.ch_sort.sort_method =2;  // The wrong way?

        operation_manager(op, OPMGR_REWRITE, &dbPtr, &succf);

       ......

        }
    }
----------------------------------

Nothing happened...

Thanks for any suggestions!

You want the chain_manager, not the operation_manager

Thanks for the reply!
Forgive my poor Chooks knowledge.

After looking up, I think ”chain_manager“ doesn't seem to be working for the purpose. Maybe I'm missing something.

chain_manager_info ChainManagerInfo;
ChainManagerInfo.mode = CHNMGR_GET;
ChainManagerInfo.op_idn = opID;
chain_manager(&ChainManagerInfo, 0, &succf);

"chns" doesn't seem to be useful either?

once you call chain_manager(...)

chns should be populated with the operations chains

         chain_manager_info chainManagerInfo;
                                    chainManagerInfo.op_idn = opEnt.u.op.op_idn;
                                    //chainManagerInfo.chns = chain;
                                    chainManagerInfo.mode = CHNMGR_GET;
                                    bool success = false;
                                    chain_manager(&chainManagerInfo, TP_CHN_ALL, &success);

Note that I used TP_CHN_ALL as the flag which equals 255, not 0
