rotating parts in car position

can some one let me know if you load a part in car position is there a way to rotate the part using the world cordinate system. so I don't have to actually rotate the part.

yep

just create your T/C plane to the side you want and set the WCS to that newly constucted plane. you can select a surface or select 2 lines to represent X and Y. you may have to rotate it afterwards if the direction is the wrong way. sometimes helps to draw a rectange on the side you want and pick 2 of those lines to set X,Y
