multiaxis verify trouble

i'm writing some 4-axis toolpaths for an old horizontal we have, and on backplot and verify on from retract to next position it shows tool going thru part. I posted a couple to check and they actually move correctly. Anyone know a way to get a good visual?

I usually backplot in different views to watch different moves. Are you using the safty zone feature in job setup? My reseller pointed out this feature to me last week and I have found that it corrected these issues for me. HTH d00d

Your post may be adding safe z retract to your program that mcam does not generate. Alot of my programs will not verify without a crash but run fine because my post takes the tool to z2. between cuts.

I was unaware of the saftey zone feature. thanks for that tip, programs run fine, I just wanted that warm fuzzy feeling before I turned that old beast lose on its first 4-axis job with a fifty-thousand dollar high speed head attached to it with i post i just made for its ancient controller. thanks for the input guys.

Germ would you be willing to share your file . that I might see what is happening to you.

 

I have done this type of programming of cousre and do not have this issue.

 

But I would like a stab at your file if you dont mind.
