High-Feed doc not in my CHOOKS folder like the help says it's supposed to...hmmmm.

I looked and nada! Any ideas?

There is also a folder of high speed demos.

I believe it "one of those things" every machine is a bit different..........what worked on a Makino won't work on a Haas etc. Working with molds I get to experiment a lot. I've got a few parameters that work for my buddy who is a speed and feeds genius, that did'nt work for me!

Ooops, you got us! That file was there for V8, but wasn't updated for V9, and the reference to it in the help shouldn't be there. I can send you the V8 file if you email me -- I think the biggest enhancement for V9 was we introduced "simplified" high feed machining, mostly for finishing, where you program the machine dynamics but not the chip load -- but the basic concepts should be the same.
